I stayed at Hotel HSB Suites for one night (17th Dec24) as a transit before catching my international flight the next day. This hotel is part of the Smart Group of Hotels, and while I have stayed in their other properties, this experience was average.
The service was okay for the amount paid, but if you’re looking for exceptional service, this might not meet your expectations. The staff was polite and accommodating—they promptly changed my room when I raised concerns about hygiene and washroom cleanliness, which I appreciated. However, housekeeping and maintenance need serious improvement.
The food was just average which they provided as complimentary breakfast ,nothing extraordinary. The lift also made strange noises, which was concerning and reflects the need for better upkeep.
Overall, the hotel is decent for a short stay if you’re on a budget, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and overall service quality.
